We are looking for Senior Consultants and Managers with backgrounds in EU Policy, to join our teams in Rome and Milan. Candidates should have competences either in digital policies/new technologies or health policy.
Intellera Consulting has established a strong track record in the analysis and review of existing best practices, regulation and legislation relating to key policy areas. We are regularly engaged by the European Commission and other high-level international clients to provide support in the analysis and evaluation of EU policies and drafting of strategic documentation.
The successful candidates will contribute to the research, evaluation and advisory work we conduct for international clients, in particular for the European Commission and EU Agencies.
We are interested in individuals who have demonstrable knowledge and experience in EU Policy combined with strong project management skills, business development skills, analytical skills and excellent English report-writing skills.
You will be working on multiple projects simultaneously, interacting directly with high-level clients and helping to manage - or independently managing - teams (depending on the level of the applicant).
Main responsibilities:
Senior Associates
- Conduct research in different policy fields, including digital or healthcare policies. Research will include qualitative and participatory research methods;
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and oversee the work carried out by more junior team members;
- Manage day-to-day client relationships alongside the Project Manager;
- Contribute to the drafting of public tenders to the end of business development.
Managers
As a project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple projects for the European Commission with a focus either on digital policies/new technologies or health policy.
This will entail:
- Managing project schedules and resources;
- Supervising project team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback
- Maintaining regular communication with the client, staff and Intellera's senior management;
- Lead on report writing, analyses and presentations for international clients;
- Oversee the project team regarding methodological aspects, ensuring high-quality research and data collection activities;
- Manage day-to-day client relationships;
- Assign work packages to project teams and quality assure their work;
- Collaborate with eventual external partners and stakeholders;
- Contribute to or lead the drafting of public tenders to the end of business development.
Your unique strengths
- Master's degree in economics, law, political science, public policy, or other disciplines linked to technology or health policy;
- Senior Associate: 3 to 5 years of working experience in consulting firms or international organisations, on policy projects;
- Manager: 5+ years of working experience in consulting firms or international organisations, on policy projects;
- Strong understanding of and interest in the European Commission domain, passion for digital and innovation policies;
- Strong qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis;
- Excellent spoken and written English and Italian;
- Accuracy and high-level attention to detail;
- Ability to lead a team and create a stimulating and positive working environment;
- Keen interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to build trusting relationships with clients and the team;
- Proactiveness and self-motivation.
